Emma-Marie Sammut

Emma-Marie is a junior associate at WH Partners. Her main areas of interest and practice comprise direct and indirect taxation, international taxation, as well as residency and citizenship matters.

Emma-Marie is a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) graduate, publishing her thesis entitled ‘Technology: A Threat or an Aid to the Legal Profession?’ in 2020. Subsequently, in 2021, Emma-Marie graduated with a Master of Advocacy degree and is presently reading for a Diploma in Taxation with the Malta Institute of Taxation.

She has also notably seen to the publication of the 29th Edition of “Id-Dritt” – a leading legal journal in Malta – and later contributed to the 30th Edition of “Id-Dritt”, publishing an article entitled ‘Can Directors and Shareholders be Held Liable for Acts Committed by the Company?’ in 2020.
